Domaine du Mont Vert – Vacation Rentals
- Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale set forth the terms and conditions for reservations and stays at Domaine du Mont Vert, a property offered for vacation rentals for tourist, family, or business stays.
Any reservation implies unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Description of the Property
Domaine du Mont Vert consists of 3 independent houses that can accommodate up to 26 guests.
The estate includes, in particular:
- fully equipped, independent accommodations
- a shared heated indoor pool
- a park and shared outdoor areas
- shared spaces will be used depending on the configuration of the stay
Descriptions and photos are provided for informational purposes only and are not contractually binding.
- Capacity and Occupancy
Sleeping capacity:
- Accommodation 1: “L’Etable”: 6 people
- Accommodation 2: “La Grange”: 12 people
- Accommodation 3: “La Maison”: 8 people
For a total of 26 people
Any occupancy exceeding this limit is strictly prohibited without the owner’s prior written consent.
- Reservation
The reservation becomes binding upon receipt of:
- the accepted and signed rental agreement
- and payment of a deposit equal to 50% of the base rental amount
The balance is due no later than 14 days before arrival.
- Prices
Prices are listed in euros, including tax, and cover the rental of the property according to the specified terms and conditions.
The costs for end-of-stay cleaning are not included in the base rental rate:
Cleaning:
- Accommodation 1: “L’Etable”: 160 € including tax
- Accommodation 2: “La Grange”: 160 € including tax
- Accommodation 3: “La Maison”: 200 € including tax
- If accommodations 1, 2, and 3 are rented at the same time: 350 € including tax
These rates do not include tourist taxes, which will be billed at the actual cost.
- Security Deposit
For the rental of Accommodation 1 (L’Etable): the security deposit is 1,000 euros; for the rental of Accommodation 2 (La Grange): the security deposit is 2,000 euros; for the rental of Accommodation 3 (La Maison): the security deposit is 1,500 euros.
For rental of the entire property, a security deposit of 4,500 euros is required before or upon arrival.
It will be refunded within 10 days after departure, subject to the results of the property inspection and provided there is no damage or missing items.
- Cancellation
Cancellation by the tenant:
To allow everyone to plan their rental in advance, the deposit paid at the time of booking will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
If canceled 14 days or more before the reservation date, only the service charges will be refunded.
Cancellation by the owner:
If the property cannot be made available (force majeure), all amounts paid will be refunded, with no further compensation.
- Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: starting at 3:00 p.m., subject to availability.
- Check-out: Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you need to check out later, please request this in advance to confirm whether it is possible.
Any overstay without prior agreement may result in additional charges equivalent to the loss of revenue.
- Use of the property
The tenant agrees to:
- comply with the maximum capacity as specified in Section 3, “Capacity and Occupancy”
- respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood
- use the premises responsibly
Noisy parties, unreported events, or excessive noise are prohibited without the owner’s written consent.
We draw the traveler’s attention to the fact that, unless the entire property is rented, other units may be rented at the same time. Guests are therefore asked to use the premises peacefully so as not to disturb the occupants of the other units. Common areas are to be shared: garden, pool, playground, etc.
- Pool and Facilities
Access to the indoor pool and facilities is at the occupants’ own risk.
Children must be under the constant supervision of a responsible adult.
The pool is equipped with a safety cover that can only be operated using an unlocking key, which only a responsible adult may use.
- Cleaning and Condition of the Property
The property must be left in good condition (trash taken out, dishes and kitchen cleaned and put away). Upon departure, please return all equipment and furniture to their original places.
The costs for end-of-stay cleaning are not included in the base rent:
Cleaning:
- Accommodation 1: “L’Etable”: 160 € (including tax)
- Accommodation 2: “La Grange”: 160 € (including tax)
- Accommodation 3: “La Maison”: €200 (including tax)
- f accommodations 1, 2, and 3 are rented at the same time: €350 (including tax)
These charges do not include tourist taxes, which will be billed at the actual cost.
Cleaning supplies (brooms, mops, vacuum cleaner, etc.) are provided in each accommodation.
- Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the accommodations or, more generally, anywhere on the property. The property covers an area of two hectares and is not fully fenced. Furthermore, as the accommodations have been recently renovated, they are not suitable for hosting pets.
In the event of the tenant’s early departure due to a refusal to allow a pet, no refund, whether full or partial, will be granted.
- Liability
The tenant is liable for any damage caused by the tenant or the people accompanying the tenant.
The owner cannot be held liable for:
- the theft or loss of personal belongings
- outages beyond the owner’s control (water, electricity, internet)
- accidents resulting from misuse of equipment
- Insurance
The tenant must be covered by vacation liability insurance covering any damages that may occur during the stay.
- Disputes
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought. Failing that, the competent courts shall be those of the location of the property.
- Acceptance
Booking the Domaine du Mont Vert implies full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as the terms set forth in the rental agreement. In the event of a conflict between the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the rental agreement, the rental agreement shall take precedence over the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
